HOW TO FIT DIALS

Dial Fitting Notes:

Some of our Dials have fitting notes on paper enclosed when they arrive with you. If fitting notes are not enclosed with the dials, then read on….. For some dials there are specific notes, so firstly identify the Lockwood Part Number of the dial you have and check below under ‘Specific Notes’ to see if it has specific notes. If you do not see the Lockwood Part Number of your dial below, then see the ‘General’ Fitting Notes below: The General fitting notes fall into 2 categories; 1. For instruments with needle pointer rest pegs (these are small pegs / pins that the needle pointer comes to rest on, on some dials) and / or that are cable driven. (This type is ususally in older vehicles). Click No. 1 below. 2. For Electronic instrument clusters with dials that do not have needle rest pegs (these are small pegs / pins that the needle pointer comes to rest on, on some dials). This type is usually in more modern vehicles. Click No. 2 below.
